let the lovin' begin
I printed one of the love pages and posted it on the Noe Valley community board. Let the lovin' begin!
I posted this sign on the community board in my neighborhood. Since the goal of your project is for people to post the sign, take a photo, then mail it to you with their story, I thought I’d do as you are asking.
When I think about posting these I LOVE YOU signs in unexpected places, I think about people seeing the message and being inspired. Inspired that they are loved in this world. That there’s hope. And joy. And love to spare. But when I posted the sign on the Noe Valley bulletin board, I read the sign and read it as a love note to myself. I’m all about loving others. But sometimes, that becomes pathological. Especially when we do it so much that we forget to take care of and love ourselves. It’s OK to take the time to love ourselves. In fact, it’s critical.
